My twenties were spent working for the glamorous Granada Television in Manchester, England in the swingin' sixties! At 27 I emigrated for the second time to America, worked for Universal Studios, a famous talent agency, and then for a movie producer.
After marriage, children - and managing my actor son - I started a new life...on my own. Finding a writers' site to upload my mother's true story motivated me to start writing myself, and I did. I wrote short stories and poetry and found that I was pretty good and won several contests. I decided to write my life story - found a publisher - and was fortunate enough to hold my book, NO ORDINARY WOMAN, in my hands last month, January 2012.
I moderate several forums on a popular writing site - spend a lot of time editing work for fellow authors - and am now working on a full-length novel.
I live by the beach in sunny California wih my small parrots, three cats and - now and again - with my much younger boyfriend.
