Formerly a credentialed, professional public employee in health information management, coding and compliance from Connecticut, I was also actively involved with my professional association and a union officer/activist until retirement.

I have never met any dark chocolate frosting, cookies, ice cream or candy and romance novels that I didn't love.

Writing has also been at the back of my mind, so when attending our "2007" Family Reunion"I offered to write the family's history which was my first non-professional publication.
