Karla Akins learned to ride a motorcycle of her own at the age of 47 and she hasn't stopped since.

Background Information

Born in Kansas City, Missouri, and abandoned at birth, Karla has ministered in the United States and Eastern Europe as a pastors wife, speaker, teacher, singer, pianist and violinist. Karla is the mother of four boys and one girl. Three of her children have cognitive and mental disabilities including autism. Her five granddaughters have renewed her love for all things sparkly.

She is that author of O Canada! Her Story, Jacques Cariter, Sacagawea and The Pastor's Wife Wears Biker boots.
