Clem Bechard

   Clem Bechard was born in Augusta, Maine the second oldest of a family of 6. He moved to Lewiston when he was nine years old and attended Catholic schools until his 5th year. He got interested in writing when he started getting noticed for his good penmanship.. He wrote short poems when he entered junior high school.     The Bechard family was quite poor growing up, so he quit school and started working at a bakery at 16 years old, throughout he kept his interest in poems and writing short stories.
