I'm a widely published and award-winning journalist also a poet. I'm fascinated by how words can scare the hell out of the mightiest and the freedom to disseminate information, in my view, is the best thing that happened to humanity. A child of the 80s, I've always wished I was born much earlier - perhaps, at a time when the world was grappling with ideologies; of communism at war with capitalism. That was never to be and in the contemporary world, there seem to be a literary desert and only creative minds and quick dazzling pens can rise to the occasion.
