I was born in a tiny suburb of L.A. that started out looking like hell and went down from there. Being an army brat, I saw Georgia, Maryland, Detroit, much of France and Italy and bits of Germany before I was ten.
Where was I by the age of ten? Back in L.A., where else?
The point being that I'm not really "from" anywhere. I used to like to tell people I was born in L.A., raised in Virginia and disillusioned in Utah. Want more details? Like the song says, "hey, buy the rights."
