G. D. Lorentzen
G.D. Lorentzen was born in Casper WY and spent his early childhood on and off the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in North Dakota. He attended high school in Olympia WA and served in the U.S. Army Security Agency as a Russian Linguist and High-Speed Morse Intercept Operator from 1968-72. He served in Vietnam from April 1969 to January 1971. He graduated in the first graduating class of The Evergreen State College in Olympia WA in 1975 with an emphasis in Buddhist Studies, Philosophy and Psychology.
