Background - I've been writing poetry for thirteen years. I use my writing skills as a way to cope with major depression. It's a vent which gives me a means to reflect and calm without a need for medication. I've had a few poems published in those large, coffee table anthologies but I sincerely feel there's no need to credit that with much. After all, anyone who submitted a poem was published. I was one of the hundreds.
