When I was a child I was abused for years by my step father. After years of being told I was lying and that I was wrong, I have recently decided to put what I remember in a poem. Children of abuse are more often than not swept under the rug or put off as a memory. Our society does not want to realize these acts happen under our noses. Maby its because they feel guilty because they should have realized or they just dont care. We need to help these children not to push these feelings deep inside, but to let them get it out. more...
