My first attempt at writing was a nonfiction book about the problems of the U.S. economy.  Although I never mentioned it in this book, I believe a revolution is imminent in the United States. Thus,  I wrote my first novel as a joke about a dictator rising up and taking control of the U.S. government.  Then the dictator, Jerrick Ray Davis, builds an empire, and puts Americans back to work. I worked in Bosnia and Herzegovina for a year.  My colleagues and I saw and experienced many unusual events.  We often joked about writing a novel about our employer.   more...
