I submitted a screenplay to the Bonanza TV show when I was twelve. The writers must have had a good laugh over it, but their rejection letter was kind, so I kept at it. I wrote mostly for my own amusement until later in life. I decided I wanted to write romances, which have been a staple of my reading diet since high school. I took a course in How To Write a Romance Novel, and gave myself five years to learn how to do it. I'm pleased to say my hard effort has finally paid off.
