Despite the fact that I've had approximately 512 different jobs, I don't remember ever wanting to be anything but a writer when I grew up. Nancy Drew was a very strong, early influence. And I suppose I dabbled just a bit in what is now called "fan fiction." My head was always filled with stories begging to get out--and all were puzzles, my favorite form of entertainment. Readers tell me that my debut novel, Something Borrowed, Something Blue (available now!), keeps them guessing to the very end.
