I once lived in shame for the things I had done, but after a number of years being sober, I began to realize this world would be a lonely place if no one ever got a second chance. It is with this second chance that I began sharing my stories and poetry, with the hope that by sharing them I might be able to help someone else. Also by going back in the past I realized that the power of my shame is lessened the more I tell my story.
