MaryGrace Patterson
I was born and raised in the northeast kingdom of Vermont. One of my English teachers introduced me to the poets, and I started reading and writing poetry. Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, Longfellow, and Elizabeth and Robert Browning, Helen Stiener Rice,are some of my favorite poets. I grew up in a home filled with music and family traditions. My northern heritage has had a deep impact on my life and poetry.My mother was a loving nuturing person who instilled the desire within me to be more than what I was.
