During my life I have been fortunate enough to spend a lot of time living in beautiful wilderness areas. I have also been able to learn a lot about local African cultures. These are very prevalent in my books. The author who most influenced my outlook on life was Forrest Carter. The biggest thing I have learned is that circumstances and your life can change in a hurry, but NEVER give up.
