Wife and I both Born and raised in small rural religious town. Graduated US NAval Academy, 1953. Spent 22 years flying with US Air Force. My first book tells a story of one segment of my career. Wrote book about it after coaxing by sons to set the record straight about a fire I experienced while doing a test for NASA. Strong family ties with four sons, three of whom live with their families within 2 blocks.
