Letitia Sweitzer

Born in Boston, raised in Virginia, a long-time Georgia resident, I feel connected to the New England coast, where I spent my girlhood summers, and to this plot of land in Atlanta nestled between a big, busy city and a tree-banked river. Educated in girls' schools, I grew up reading authors mostly English or dead and accidentally memorized a lot of poetry. I'm amazed to discover that my first full-length play (to be produced summer 2008 by Essential Theatre in Atlanta) was on the same topic as my first poem written when I was about 8--Adam and Eve.
