About fifteen or so years ago, Phyllis’ stepmother-in-law gave her a romance novel to read. "A Rose in Winter", by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss. From that point on, she’s been an avid lover of romance–either stories or movies or music. She started writing when she picked up a story that had a really bad ending and wondered if she could do better. Between that and her dreams, she was inspired to write.
