Debra Baker began writing as a young lady. Her journals were the one place she could hold all of her thoughts. Her Aunt, Helen Oxendine, a Poet herself was a great influence in Debra's talent. Often telling Debra she had a gift. Twentyyears ago Debra took on the challenge of expressing her journals and words written in them, taking and turning them into beautiful poetry.
