I didn't start writing until all my earlier youthful activities (i.e., dancing, clubbing, horse-riding etc.), had suddenly come to a halt, as my retirement age was fast approaching at a mad gallop.
I had always loved reading books from an early age, and was "weaned" on Enid Blyton's "Noddy" books, never dreaming that one day I would write my own fantasy stories, although I was always good at turfing out compositions at school, which were mostly ghost stories.
