I've been writing since I was in fourth grade and won my first essay contest when I was 15. Expressing oneself with the written word, and moving others with your talent is a gift.
To make a living I do commercial and business proposal and grant writing for small businesses and nonprofits. Writing for pleasure includes personal essays (published), profiles and lifestyle features for the local paper (published) and children's books and poetry (still unpublished!)
