Poetry is a large part of my life. I wrote my first poem at age eight and have continued to write throughout the years. Life gives plenty of writing material. Although i like modern poetry, i'd have to say two of my favorite collections are "Hood's Poetical Works" and "Browning's shorter poems". I write to work through my emotions and to express myself.
