I grew up in Jackson,Ms,with my aunt, Dr.Vera Mae Chambers,until I graduated from high school. She was an educator for 35 years. I have taught school for the past 21 years in Evergreen, AL where my principal is Mrs. Geneva Lyons. I chose writing as a way of giving back to others my experiences, hopes, and dreams as a form of encouragement to taking what you have and working with it.
