I worked for 30 years as a tech writer for the Panama Canal Commission and learned how the Canal operates. My office investigated ship accidents in the Canal and I conceived a story based on an accident investigation which became my first novel, The Sage. I followed this with a sequel and then changed direction to write about my community theater experiences. I am presently working on an adventure novel set in the Darien jungle of Panama. Recently I have enjoyed writing short stories. I like this venue because I can say what I have to say without worrying about length.  more...
