Growing up in a small suburban town with a family reminiscent of those seen in 18th century farming communities offers a strange perspective of the world. As a young writer, beginning mostly in high school, I have found nearly all my motivation and influences in the world that surrounds me. From the people I've met to the way buildings seem to grow out of the ground the environment is far more important than the gene tree.
