I've been writing since I learned how to rhyme, and I cut my teeth on penning bad poetry - which was good for the soul but not anything that should have seen the light of day.
I've always been drawn to stories that go bump in the night - the more goosebumps the better. I remember staying home sick when I was around eleven, and I 'borrowed' one of my mom's library books. It was Plague - and by the time Mom got home, I knew I was dying with each sneeze.
I wanted to write stories like that - words that became images inside the reader's head. more...
