My major influences are my parents, who just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. I grew up relatively poor in St. Louis, but put myself through engineering school, spent 9 years in the communications equipment industry, went back and got my MBA and landed on Wall Street as the first semiconductor analyst to focus on the communications market.
