Review of Relocating Mia by Rebecca Lerwill
Rebecca Lerwill writes like a seasoned veteran. Her style is concise and lyrical. In Relocating Mia, we meet Mia Trentino, a relocating expert with Worldmove, Inc., and her latest assignment is to help a business locate in Siberia, Russia. Mia is fluent in Russian, and other languages, so she is up to the task.
When checking in with Worldmove, Mia finds she has been given a partner - Douglas Fairland. He will be with her during the relocation process.
But all is not what it seems to be...
The Russian company in truth, has dealings with the Russian Mafia, and they are making meth labs.
Also, Douglas is not a Worldmove employee, he has been placed to check on the wrongdoings of the Russians -
Douglas is a member of ACRONYM - a covert group that makes the CIA look like choirboys...
Mia and Douglas, and fellow covert agent, Ludvika, soon are up to their necks in intruige...Mia and Douglas also find they are falling in love.
How will they handle these feelings when Douglas is not who he says he is?
The story progresses and is beautifully handled in resolution of the Mafia business, and the budding romance between Mia and Douglas.
The ending opens itself to a sequel, and I cannot wait to see the further adventures of the characters we have come to know and like in Relocating Mia.
