This was a big year for us. We traveled a bit, as evidenced by this picture, taken on Orcas Island in Washington State, far away from our Kentucky Home. Highly recommended, by the way! Our youngest son got married on July 7th, along with a lot of other people. I published a book, which is a life-long dream. Never mind that it was self published, which many people would rate the same as an illegitimate birth. I had a perfectly legitimate reason for doing so. I'm a big chicken.

Last but certainly not least, I have changed from a PC to a MAC. What a change! What freedom this brings me, since it is a laptop! What peace in our little home, since my husband can spend endless hours enjoying his office without me trying to kick him out. I have taken up nearly permanent nightly residence on my cushy couch, notebook in hand (on lap). Loving it!
