Dentiny's Prerogative was chosen to represent the Lovers card.
What exactly does the Lovers card represent in the Tarot deck? What does it mean and how does it apply to everyday life?
The Lovers card represents passion, romance and is often interpreted to mean new or rekindled relationships. It is a loving relationship of a soul mate.
On the deeper level the card may represent a choice a person must make. The choice is not an easy one and the lovers must listen with his or her heart, or inner voice to realize the correct decision.
Another meaning for the Lovers card is that it represents the Fool. The Fool will set out on a journey coming across a female he cannot resist. She is the one to complete his soul in every respect. He takes time from his journey to begin a relationship of intimacy. He frees his imagination, intuition and his emotional well-being. The female represents the epitome of the relationship with the need to merge with her destined soul-mate.
The male is the conscious, beta and everyday thinking mind. The female is the inner subconscious, intuitive and the mystical mind. The point is to combine the power and forces of both sides of the male and female minds, making them one.
The Lovers card is about surrendering one’s heart and spirit to the energy of love, to be open and fulfilling every need and goal of one’s being. To weave one’s destiny into the tapestry of time with one’s soul mate. The person must learn to love, trust, and connect on every level of this sacred union. Love is a very powerful energy!
