Never did I sit next to a desk and waited on my Muse to inspire me. In the woods, while I capsized and swam after my beloved to keep her afloat, an idea popped into my had, scrbbled it on the remnant of a newspaper, a discarded envelope, whatever I found, and then out of breath clicked Word, and clicked half of the night.
Passe partout was a remnnant of a memory, during one of my many travels, this time in Spain. Pierre was born and became my protagonist in Passe partout. His adventures from Paris, all the way to Seville and the ruins the Roman Amphitheater nearby, his involvement with Gypsy women, genetics and procreation became part of it.
Never mind if you discover yourself in my books, we all copy one another, and reinvent ourseleves.
