Well I heard back from a literary agency today, found the message in my inbox, and although they could not take the manuscript I found the words encouraging, I have not given up by far the good Lord has plans for my writing, I believe that with all my heart, and in fact although it was a rejection I found the email itself encouraging:
Dear Ms. Kidwell:
Thank you for contacting The Pelham Agency.
Unfortunately, we will have to pass on this project.
Your email is intriguing but we receive a large number
of queries and can only read a comparatively small
number of manuscripts. Often we must turn down a
promising query. We wish you well in all of your
writing endeavors and hope to hear from you again.

|What a nice way to be turned down. Gently without being nasty about it. Sorry about that, but it happens to even the best of writers, like stephen King and Margaret Mitchell who wrote "Gone With The Wind". Sure it hurts, but it makes us more determined to try again! Keep on writing, Michelle, and never, ever give up!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D
