The three words which are so powerful and now almost lost in our daily conversation are please and thank you.
Please pass me the salt. Please help me with the dishes. Please get me the book in my bedroom.
Thank you for helping me with my homework today dad. Thanks mom for bring me my lunch at school. I forgot it. Thanks mom for doing my laundry.
Please and thank you are so powerful and forceful in the work place. If those words were used more often their would be less hostility between employees.
Thanks for letting me use your scissors. Thanks for the bottle of water I was really thirsty. Thanks for being my friend. Thanks for the help on this special project I would have never finished it without you.
Letting another person know you appreciate their presence and help on a daily basis is what living is all about. We all like to hear praises but do we ever get them.
I was watching a very popular television show with Tyra Banks, Americans Most Top Model. When they were at the end of the show and waiting to find out which model would be going home Tyra and all the judges asked this girl to say thank you. The girl did not get it and the girl was eliminated from the contest and went home.
That television program was the inspiration for this article. I think the girl got it finally when she was packing to return to her home.
Two words. Thank you. So powerful. Try them you might learn to like them.
Thank you for reading my article. Please feel free to read any of my numerous articles on various subjects.
