what are you letting Pollute your soul?
In Jill Briscoes book Eight Choices that Will Change A Woman's Life. I came across several good points and I came across a phrase that seems to sum up my thoughts for today.
What exactly do you think when you think of that?
For me its the things that we let get into our lives that may pollute our souls, things that the world may think is okay, but as Christians we need to realize when we are letting those pollutions into our lives, whether it be in the form of sin, including, lies, rumors, or falsehoods, we need to watch what traps we let our souls fall into.
"If our works reflect our words (and vice versa) we can learn to avoid the pollution of our souls." Briscoe
We need to live the message that we preach. We need to not only talk the talk, but walk the walk.
"A Mouth needs a mind and heart to direct it's speech. (Briscoe, Paraphrase mine)
For the director of music. For Jeduthun. A psalm of David.
1 My soul finds rest in God alone;
my salvation comes from him.
