This is about a teacher that I had become close with who left the school where I was at
Stranger to none, teacher to some, father to all…
I never expected to write this so soon, let alone stand here and say it so soon. I thought I’ll be the one saying goodbye to you at the end of the year, but here you are saying goodbye to the school at large at the beginning of the year.
Its hard say goodbye to someone you have grown so close to. You told me a month ago about your resignation but that hasn’t been enough time to digest your departure.
I’ve learnt many life lessons from Mr. Brandt and the last one he taught me just yesterday was that, this which we do everyday is life and its all in the pursuit of happiness.
This is indeed not goodbye, but, farewell to a legend of his time.
I salute you… and wish you well on your pursuit of happiness
