When you are making a baby scrapbook, whether you are the proud mother or you simply adore the baby and want to preserve a bit of her babyhood for the future, you will run into the problem looking for baby dedication scrapbook ideas.  For many families, a baby's dedication to the Christian faith is something that is very important.  It can be a very moving experience, and one that the rest of the family will remember for the rest of their lives; it's funny then, that the guest of honor often has no idea what is going on!  To make sure that she will be able to see what such an important day looked like, there are plenty of baby dedication scrapbook ideas for you to take a look at.

First, take plenty of pictures of the church or facility where the dedication occurred.  No one knows what the future holds, and who knows if that church will be there by th time that the baby thinks to go looking?  If there are lovely windows or wonderfully cozy rooms, get pictures of that, and make sure you get one of the person officiating as well.  Ask your minister to write a message to the baby who is being dedicated, whether that is advice for her life, or a verse she should remember.

When your baby is being dedicated it can be both a joyous and serious occasion, so you should let your baby dedication scrapbook reflect that.  One way to do this is to let the first part of the book be about the official things.  Was there are printed announcement made of this special event, or was there anything going on at the church at the time?  When you go into the service, take a look around at the fliers area and find out what's been happening.  They won't mind if you take a few for your memories!

You'll also find that when it comes to baby dedication scrapbook ideas that it is wholly important and appropriate to put down Biblical dedication quotes.  You can sprinkle them throughout the work as a reminder of the path that the baby has been put on, or you can use them the way that authors use epigraphs, as a short statement or piece that sums up the whole.  If you are going to a baby's dedication, chances are, you have your own favorites, but if you are looking for inspiration, take a look at the two below.

Psalm 139:13-16 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

1 Samuel 1:27 I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him.

While the first is lengthy and the second is short, they both convey a powerful message, so make sure that  your baby scrapbook does the same!
