"OLD GLORY" STILL PREVAILS!
Patriotism should be Tempered with Common Sense -
Propaganda should be analyzed with a "Jaundiced Eye."
"BLOOD for OIL - for more BLOOD!
The Aftermath - 7 Years Later

MOLLY - Hi! Was up early, doing some 'clean up' work on the ole puter, and somehow wound up re-visiting your site - clicked on MOLLY MARTIN, out of curiosity, read a bit, and finally wound up here -.9-11 What An Astounding Day.
As the others below have already said, this article expresses in a very poignant manner what millions of Americans felt that infamous day. NO - those fanatics did not break our resolve or our spirit, but sadly, we now find ourselves seven years later, in a stupid war that should never have happened.
Bush, Cheney, Powell, Rumsfeld, and others LIED TO US. Congress stupidly believed the political rhetoric and propaganda, and went along out of a spirit of unity. However, now that the truth is known, the real shame in my opinion is that Bush & Cheney should have both been IMPEACHED long before now. Just the other day, on NPR the report was that Kuchinski's Impeachment proceeding was 'a day late and a dollar short.'
It was too late in Bush's Lame Duck' time in office to do anything. This means that this Tyrant has literally gotten away with Murder! THAT bothers me - I would prefer that the History books would have NAILED HIM TO THE WALL.
The anger that you wrote about, towards the terrorists, I now feel more deeply towards our own administration, as well as our "Do Nothing" Congress - 535 "Lobbyist Pandering" NON-representatives, with neither a backbone, nor any testosterone!
In closing, I say: "REMEMBER 9-11" and VOTE FOR CHANGE - AGAINST EVERY INCUMBENT - until WE THE PEOPLE - US - have UNITED again as Americans, with a fervor to show anyone seeking any office at any level forevermore that - ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Peace & God Bless ... Tom.
FLAG DAY
A QUOTE:
Adults, too, participated in patriotic programs. Franklin K. Lane, Secretary of the Interior, delivered a 1914 Flag Day address in which he repeated words he said the flag had spoken to him that morning:
"I am what you make me; nothing more.
I swing before your eyes as a bright gleam of color,
a symbol of yourself."
“UNITED WE STAND -
DIVIDED WE FALL!”
Happy National Flag Day!
