My biggest concern, my dear husbands health; jeopadised by the lack of proper service for his equipment, bringing him to tears.

My dear husband is not a well man. He is older and has suffered a heart attack , Medicine has worked its magic to keep him well and now all he needs is a happy retirement with healthy food and exercise to keep his dear heart beating.

He is a writer and  we spend long happy hours together working alongside each other on our computers. The Canadian winter is harsh  and so we sit here and write. It should be peaceful and productive.

Anyone who uses the computer knows that life is fraught with exasperatian and trauma. The computer is a dumb creature that suffers fragile health issues...ie nasty virus and cookie attachment bugs that have killer abilities.

Now being in the older age group this house hold sometimes ...often....well yes very often find ourselves with a problem especially my husband. The dear man telelphones for assistance and I am so distressed to see how quickly working with the service people on the telephone can bring on a dangerous angina attack.

I don' tknow whether it is allowable for me to mention the company he is trying to work with ........but they are impossible. All they are interested in doing is selling him another attachment, a new computer, another piece of equipement. Friday this happenend, and after the call my husband realized that he didn't want the purchase. He spent the entire weekend trying to cancel the order. The company won't accept an email cancellation, and neither will operators. He must accept the product, then telephone the company and they will accept a return...so they say....My dear husband is in tears this morning......how crazy is this. What ever happened to taking care of the customer. Del we can live without you.
