In yet another way, the normal 'cycle of life' is being disrupted by greedy corporations.

But, you won't see it in the 'controlled' newspaper headlines, nor on National television news - Why?

Because 'THEY' don't want you to know!

Keep the public Ignorant! Should be their motto!

Water Wars

- REVIEW -

Watched this documentary earlier this week.
Each and every American citizen should watch it.
Why? To be educated - to learn -
Just how crooked and corrupt that both
Corporations and Governments are!

Only about five to ten corporations
Are discussed in this controversial film -
And THEY CONTROL many of the major
Ground-water sources of water.

Three of these major corporations
Are located in France.
One major ‘culprit’ is literally ‘raping’
The poor people in Third-World countries -
According to the film expose’ -
It is none other than - Coca-Cola!

Water taken from a country is processed,
Then bottled - the water put into plastic bottles
Is then sold for a higher price than the ‘coke’
Put into glass bottles! Why?
Could it be Greed?

As the experts present in this movie,
Once ground-water is taken from any place,
Then transported elsewhere -
It is depleted, or lost forever - never replaced!

Several American locations are exposed herein,
One of which, is none other than one of
The Great Lakes - Lake Michigan!
Even after local citizens and environmental groups
Filed legal action - and Won - Within just Days -
A government Judge reversed the decision!

After watching this astonishing documentary,
I personally believe that the Threat of future
Water Wars may be more critical than
Even Global Warming!
No Small Problem!

Major corporations have invested Millions of $
In building huge De-Salination plants -
But are the costs of the finished product
Driving up the costs of all water - everywhere?

Oil has been called Black Gold -
For many, many years -
Now - Water is being called - Blue Gold!

“Water, water, everywhere ...
but, not a drop to drink ...”

What will YOU drink -
After your greedy corporations
And crooked government officials
Transport it all away?

Interesting. We will look up that film. Most people who reside in the Fraser valley here in Canada don't know that we are providing a great deal of water to Washington St. and further south. The Chilliwack river touches on the border between our two countries and is being diverted away from the agricultural land in the south west of the valley; right under our nosed and blind folds. In addition, much of the land which has small rivers/creeks running through it has options placed on them for future development of hydro power. So even if you were to buy a parcel of land with this feature, guess what??? the water is not yours. Want a drink anyone? Water is gold alright and we all pay the sur-charges in one way or another. Thanks for sharing Tom. Hugs, J'nia

Contrary to what many still like to believe – fresh water, like every other resource on this dying planet, is a finite commodity, not infinite.

Global consumption of water is now doubling every 20 years, and our human population growth is now skyrocketing out of control. According to the UN, more than one billion people already lack access to fresh drinking water.

If these current trends persist, by the year 2025 the demand for freshwater is expected to rise to 56 percent above the amount that is currently available.

And, if all the above is true, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that gigantic corporations, like they do with every other dwindling resource, will be the ones deciding who gets the vanishing water, and how much it will cost them.

The family farm is already a thing of the past; giant corporations own the farming industry, and control our food prices, as they do the oil industry. Corporate owned water will soon join corporate owned food and fuel. And those that can afford to, will pay any price for Earth’s dwindling fresh water in the years to come.

This old world of ours just keeps getting worse.
