Writing essays maybe difficult for some people, but producing an interesting and persuasive essay that will get the attention of readers is even more difficult. Here are some essay writing tips to compose an interesting and persuasive essay.

Writing essays maybe difficult for some people, but producing an interesting and persuasive essay that will get the attention of readers is even more difficult. An effective suggestion is to write a short piece that is not boring – one that will convince the audience to read it from beginning to end, and should be something that will persuade them to support the idea of your topic.

Here are some essay writing tips to compose an interesting and persuasive essay:

1. Choose a subject that you are interested in and is neither too broad or narrow. It should be specific, direct to the point, and can convince readers to believe in the arguments that you discussed in your subject. Your subject should be based on facts that are supported by relevant research.

2. Use more of the active voice and less of the passive voice. Using an active voice can strengthen your statements and convince the readers that you know what you are talking about.

3. Organise your paper into a smooth pattern that will guide the readers. The basic format for a well-organised essay consists of the introduction, body of discussion and conclusion.

4. The introduction should be attention grabbing and impressively worded so the readers will be enticed to continue reading. The introductory paragraphs must provide ample background information on the topic or subject and it should end with a specific transitional statement about the main body.

5. The body of paragraphs must clearly and convincingly present the specific information about the main idea or thesis of your topic. The body should state the points supporting your idea and each paragraph in the body should focus on a specific point.

6. Any opposing views included can consist of one or two paragraphs that will fairly and accurately explain why your main idea should be refuted by an opposing argument. The conclusion contains successfully proven points and other highlights of the discourse that will persuade the audience to support your argument.

If you follow these basic tips for writing interesting and persuasive essays, you will be able to entice more people to read and pay attention to your written work. These tips can further improve your essay writing abilities so that you can produce excellent quality compositions.
