Daylights savings time
So tonight is the most dreaded night of the year. The night we spring forward an hour to begin daylights savings time. That night of the year we lose that one precious hour of sleep. That one little hour that causes confusion for months. If you work with or travel to international destinations, besides dealing with different time zones, you also have to deal with whether or not that area practices daylights savings time. Also what about things that rely on time. Take the movie, "National Treasure", for instance. A person could lose a fortune because they were off an hour. What about "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil", how is midnight effected in rituals that surround midnight. What about birthdays? What about births when we go off daylights savings time and get that hour back? We have the same hour twice during the early morning. How are births recorded?
While you ponder these thoughts, I will ponder where all the clocks are in my house.
