What does the word Love mean?
    You can sum it up this way:
Let bygones be bygones.
Only accentuate important things.
Voice your feelings about
    Your  mate.
Especially the good points you can      find in your pardoner. 

 

 

                        There is a funny thing about life. As one gets older we tend to think we have learned a lot. We even take pride that we are packing years of experience at living. What we too often do not consider is that some of that past is based on inexperience or upon multiple errors. This is another way of saying it is based on a lack of experience. This means that each day as we awake we should always be ready and willing to learn something new and put it to use.

 

            Here is an example. More than twenty years ago I had a heart attack. This not only took me out of the job force but created the settings for many trips to the Hospital. My wife has been with me through it all. Each trip in and sometimes even when she really didn’t think I would ever come out alive. Still her love was there. Now she is facing a critical time in life and I find that I am not only taking care of me but also her. 

 

            I find this one wonderful opportunity to show not only my appreciation but my love for her. You know what they say about turn-a-bout being fair play?

I find this not only was the chance to return her love but it has been a morale boaster for me. Everyone needs to feel needed. It can be hard when you find yourself on the receiving end all the time. Now I am giving again and this is what I have wanted since the day I first met her.

 

            This means today my life has taken one more change. Now I am learning just what I can accomplish because there was simply a need for it. I thank God for this. His will for my life was and is for me to feel that I have something of value to share with others. This starts with him and with Jesus Christ, then my wife, my kids and each person I meet. That is why I try always to meet each person with a smile and a friendly hello. If you haven’t tried it yet, by all means do so today. You will be surprised that the one you bless when you show a kind and friendly attitude to others is more you then them.
