Want to give a gift that comes from the heart and is easy? Try giving Russian Spice Tea.

There are times when a little gift is called for. But what do you give? You just want to give a small token of your appreciation or recognition for just being a friend. There is actually one homemade gift that you can make in your own kitchen that they will enjoy. Give the gift of Russian Spice Tea.

Russia is one of the leading countries in drinking tea. Whether they actually came up with this recipe or not, no one really knows. But it is delicious and extremely popular. There are so many variations of this recipe. Just type it in your search engine and watch the numerous sites that pop up. But this is the recipe that my mother made and gave as gifts. It is also known as Russian Friendship Tea and Russian Tea. Everyone enjoyed receiving it and enjoying a cup. The fun part is that you don’t have to make it as gifts. Make some for yourself and enjoy.

You will the following:
2 cups of Tang
2 cups of regular sugar
1cup lemon instant tea such as Lipton
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves

Mix it all up and put it in a jar that seals tightly. Dress up the packaging with ribbon or even fabric tied to the lid. This is a cute homemade gift that is easy and fun to give. You can experiment by adding powdered lemonade or any other spice you like. Have fun with it. Create your own variation and give it a new name.

Want to really give it as a gift with something more? Add a tea cup and saucer. Include a spoon with a small ribbon tied to it. Add some scones, cookies, or such. The Russian Spice Tea could be just the basis of your gift instead of the whole gift. Don’t limit yourself in making your own gifts and handing them out to your friends and family. Much love and attention is given to it which makes the gift that much more precious.
