Try taking rocks bigger than your pet's mouth and putting it into their food bowl. In this way, your pet can eat but must eat around the rocks and will really chew it's food. Also especially for a dog, put the food dish on a higher surface, something that it has to raise it's head to connect to, so it's food can settle in it's stomach. When you pick out the rocks make sure they are bigger than your pet's mouth. You do not want your pet to swallow the rock or get it stuck in their windpipe and not be able to breathe. Then you will have another problem.
I wish I could say that I could take credit for this information but I heard it from my sister who had a Labrador retriever. The dog ate way to fast and then ended throwing up it's food all over her cement patio. She took her to the Vet. and this is the advice she was given.
She tried it and it worked. Her dog's digestion was vastly improved and there weren't any more messes for her to clean up. Thank you for reading my article. Please feel free to read any of my articles posted on various subjects. There must be something you would be interested in reading.
