"Barring a medical breakthrough, the World Alzheimer Report projects dementia will nealy double every 20 years. By 2050, it will affect a staggering 115.4 million people". "We are facing an emergency", said Dr. Daisy Acosta, who heads Alzheimer's Disease International. Source: The Gainesville Sun Sept.21,2009 Page 5A

Dementia is not a normal part of aging nor does it need to bankrupt Medicare and the economy.
Four years ago I was diagnosed with dementia. Here are the possibilities:
If the diagnosis was correct. then I should be slipping, not improving every year on a high level natural lifestyle.
If the diagnosis was incorrect it causes us to ponder how well we are diagnosing patients, forcing them to take drugs as I was, and labelling people for life! All recorded in exact detail in my 'award-winning" book, Preserved to Serve which is now a multi "award-winning" book!
