“Remembering the True Meaning of The 4th of July”
Let’s Not Forget…
Summer has arrived and many of us will gather with family and friends for the Fourth of July. Most of us will have picnics and fireworks with friends and family while enjoying the outdoors, but let us not forget what the 4th of July is really all about and let us take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by those brave men and women in uniform who protect our enduring freedom every day.
It is my sincere hope that everyone in our nation (families, friends and loved ones) will gather this Independence Day to reflect on the value and importance of our freedoms, as well as the patriotic fight to maintain those freedoms by the men and women who have served and sacrificed as members of our nation’s Armed Forces.
I am truly thankful to all our veterans and soldiers who have risked and sacrificed their lives for this country. They have dedicated their lives to ensure our safety, provide us with the opportunity to live as a free country and help the millions of people here and around the world who are in need.
Sometimes we all take for granted these wonderful gifts and do not realize the extent our veterans had to go through to attain these wonderful privileges or the lengths our soldiers are currently going through to continue to provide us with these wonderful gifts we have in the USA. Not every country gets to be free, feel safe, and live in the comforts of home we so take for granted.
Let us all stop for a moment and make a promise to ourselves to thank one of our soldiers or veterans for the lengths they have taken to provide us with our independence and all the other wonderful gifts they have provided for this country. Let us take a moment to leave a message or comment on our board with two simple words “Thank You.”
By the dedication and patriotism of our nation’s veterans and service members, I would like to offer my gratitude to those who have worn the uniform.
On this Independence Day, enjoy this year’s summer celebration and remember to thank those who have defended our continued independence and thank them for their service, dedication, and strength that they have provided for this country. I would like to thank you for making a difference, giving us our independence, and providing our nation with all necessities we need to continue to be one of the strongest and most giving nations in the world. Happy 4th of July.
