This link features two essays by Ian Irvine originally delivered at Australian literary and creative writing conferences in 2005-2006. The Jindyworobak essays was originally accepted by the Australian literary journal Tirra Lirra - unfortunately after many years contributing to Australian literary culture Tirra Lirra folded in 2008. The other essay is somewhat dated representing a discussion of Australian poetry and 'political poetics' at the height of the former Howard government.
