Life is to short to fret over the chocolates in a box. If you don't like the chocolate, toss it.

Most of us don't have a crystal ball telling us which choices are the right ones to make. Let's be truthful even if we did, most would still decide for his or her own self. What can I say, us humans can be stubborn that way...

When we find ourselves in a wrong decision no one can tell you the best way to go about changing your life but you. Advise can be offered but in the end it is up to each individual person to choose the right path for themself.

One of the best things I have found is learn to laugh more. Laughter is the best medicine for many things. Even the chocolates we thought we could not live without. Opening the box of assorted chocolates is like stepping out on the path of life, you have no idea where the journey will take you until you have completed it.

No one can tell you if you will like the candy until you taste it, the same is true with life. You will have no idea if the path you have chosen for yourself is the right one unless you take that first step. Just remember, like the nasty piece of chocolate you bit into, if you don't like it toss it.

Don't sell yourself short, there are a million of people willing to do that for you. The only person you can do anything about is yourself. So if you are out to change the world, be in for a major fight.

If someone hands you lemons, throw them back at them and tell them to make their own bloody lemonade. Why settle for lemons when you can have any fruit you want. We are only limited by the limits we each place on ourselves.

I have heard so many complain how it is someone else fault they could not do something or things did not work out. Bull Crap...

That is a the biggest cop-out I have ever had the misfortune to hear. Unless someone holds you in a locked room against your will how can they stop you from doing something?

Now if you have allowed another person to hold you back then shame on you. It is still your responsibility, no one else.

If you find you have made the wrong choice learn from it and move on. Humor helps in times like this when you feel you are at the end of your rope and someone keeps moving the ends. That is when you use the rope to tie their hands...

I would suggest a really good gag as well, it saves on your wallet. If you do not have to listen to the person you will not have to rush out to buy Excedrin. If you can not find a gag, a rubber mallet works too.

With relationships like fast food service and the job market being what it is we are all faced with tough choices on a daily bases.

Yeah, I called relationships like fast food, most change partners like ordering at Mc Donalds they want it hot and fast...

I personally prefer a nice home cooked sit down meal. They kind that sticks to your ribs, so in an hour you are not looking for something else. Yep, I am a one guy kind of women. I don't like fast food.

As for jobs, well I find myself like everyone else getting work where and when I can. Unlike some who wait for work to come to them (like that will happen), I am working for temp agency just to make sure I have an income and still looking for a permanent job everyday. Th etemp jobs my not be easy or fun, but at least it gives me an income. I have been lucky enough to enjoy the people I have worked with. Added bonus, I am not bored.

Even in my writing I have learn to laugh at myself. I try to inject humor where and when I can. Hey, I never said my humor was not warped. You can not work in the medical field without developing a warped sense of humor. The more stress on a job, the more warped the humor coming from those working it.

No long ago I posted 'Night Shade', the story I have been working on and a friend of mine (male of course) said "Leave it to you to write about the women having silicon implants." Me responds was, "Yep, leave it to me."

I have been around men all my life. Growing up the biggest Tom-boy in our neighborhood, I have first hand knowledge of what guys talk about when it comes to women. It has been my experience that I need to wear a shirt with a face on it as that seems to be the person the guys are talking to when the come up to me. Oh what I wouldn't give to find a shirt where the printed face at my chest answered them back.

However, the older I get maybe I better make it a really long shirt so the face is in the southern region....Yes, Issac Newton...Gravity Works, thank you so much for pointing this out.

If I were ever asked who my hero/heroine in life is the answer would be; Maxine. I hope this made you laugh if not at least smile.

Remember, in the words of Maxine:

"When life seems like an uphill climb, take comfort in the fact that you're mooning everyone behind you."

LOL very true Quail, women do check out guys. I know you were commenting on my warped sense of humor. Reality is what we make of it and some are better than others.
Thank you for the comment.

Great articles are not made, they're created by ones own will and outlook they percieve of others. Because each of us live in our own realities.

I agree life is like a box of chocolates, lemonade is best served cold and life is what each of us make it.
Ps... I was referring to your warped sense of humor, when i mentioned only you would think of that... A point to ponder...woman like to check out guys too...lol
