Book Marketing Tips

A first book can test your writing skills. It is something you never did before. In spite of the challenges you rose to the occasion to publish your first book. Just in case it hasn’t sunk in, you wrote a book.

“So Where to Next?” One step at a time. It’s promotion time. “How do I promote my book?” Since you like to write anyway, why not write for publications. What is your subject? Is your book about parenting; if so, write articles from your subtopics and submit to magazines related to parenting, kids, etc.

Another way to promote your book, write articles for web sites like;; Sites like these you to link back to your web site.

Your local small newspapers are a good resource. They maybe looking for writers. Even if it’s not a paid position, it is an opportunity to build visibility, establish yourself as an expert while promoting your book. Local magazines also need writers from time to time.
