Every so often the ugly head of gas prices surfaces. The event is received similar to the flu season or some other disease. The difference is there's no medicine for high prices.

GAS PRICES UP, AGAIN!

Well drivers here we go again. Gas companies love it whenever an excuse to hike up the price of gas appears. If Americans ever get together, these companies would think twice before jacking up prices. The problem is consumer’s talk a lot yet show no interest in participating in anything that may force prices down. During the 70’s we complained about gas rationing but it was the only way to deal with the problem.
There’s a simple method of keeping the price of gas from reaching the moon but not too many drivers know about it or use it. What is it? Read on.

Think about this, there are some large companies that do not import oil from the Middle East.
I for one thought every company did. Who are they? Glad you asked, it certainly isn’t Shell, Chevron/Texaco, Exxon/Mobil, Marathon/Speedway, or Amoco, the one’s responsible for nearly six million barrels of crude a day. CITGO as you well know is from Venezuela so guide yourself accordingly.

Until this mess is over it’s suggested we buy from:
SUNOCO – CONOCO – SINCLAIR – BP/PHILLIPS – HESS – ARCO – MAVERICK – FLYING J – VALERO – MURPHY OIL USA (Which by the way is sold at Wal-Mart. The gas is from South Arkansas)
If you have any doubts contact the U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY, where each company is obligated to report where they buy their oil and how much they import.

Americans have to take control of their own destiny. Let’s let these mega oil companies know we’re not going to be pushed around anymore, after all we are the one’s making them rich.

Only time will tell but creatures of habit that we are, (I used to gas up at Shell) I know a lot of drivers will go on buying gas from the same companies responsible for the problem, please make me be wrong.
